Acting Coach

Gabrielle Bauman is an educator and theatre artist with a decade of experience directing and coaching young people and new actors. Her students have been cast in their first school plays, accepted into BFA programs, and gained confidence in corporate public speaking. Additionally, Gabrielle offers workshops — particularly introductory Meisner, audition technique, and the integration of faith and art.

Ideal for student-age (middle school through college/university) and new actors of any age.

Gabrielle teaches online to accommodate actors in any location and time-zone. With students from across the Commonwealth and the U.S., she loves her opportunities for one-on-one mentorship with young and new actors.

Acting is about doing. Lessons are focused on giving you practical skills, while also building your vocabulary of the acting craft. As a working actor, Gabrielle teaches techniques that work for her — such as Meisner and Practical Aesthetics, Uta Hagen, Linklater, Lugering, and Laban. Skills such as dialect work, acting for the camera, and tackling Shakespeare can be included to suit the actor’s interests. Additionally, Gabrielle is intent on helping you build your career and can discuss your personal branding and approaching acting as a business.
